About Me
Hello! My name is Milo, welcome to my Independent Study blog for ceramic beads!
Ceramics took many forms in historical civilizations, from practical plates and bowls to high-value decorative ornaments. Societies around the world have each put their own spins on clay crafts, but one of the most interesting subsections of ceramics is undoubtedly beadmaking. This blog is dedicated to documenting my journey through the history of ceramic beads, focusing on a different society every month. Join me to learn about history, world cultures, and the start-to-finish process of making a string of beads!
You can find all of the pages on this website in the sidebar menu that is (hopefully) on the left of your screen. There you can access all my blog posts, pictures, and sources for each month 🙂
